The Course Level 1 was amazing!!!

I was sad to not have my weekly Kalaallisut class yesterday! Many thanks for teaching such an interesting and exciting course! Takuss!

Vi er meget taknemlige for at du har optaget det hele på video, så vi vil gå igang med at lytte og arbejde med det grønlandske ud fra disse videoer indtil vi skal tilbage til Grønland i midten af juni måned. Jeg nyder virkelig kurset og synes jeg får rigtigt meget ud af det.

Liv was a wonderful teacher who gave me a real foundation in the basics of Greenland. I'm gonna continue my venture with trying to learn Greenlandic. I will tell you though that I found it challenging to use what I had learned in Qaanaaq. But I made some great connections there and hope that I can learn that dialect since that is where I will be spending most of my time. Thank you again and again I apologize.

I just wanted to say thanks for the classes. I’ve really enjoyed them. I wasn’t thinking I was learning much (it’s a hard language!) and then I was explaining something about it to my husband and I realized, “wow! I know way more than I thought I did!” So that’s good! Basically though, I wanted to say that I’ve enjoyed your teaching and your encouragement and kindness. I hope to be able to continue learning. Thanks so much!

I've been meaning to write and tell you how much I enjoyed and how much I got out of the Level 1 and 2 courses. I had been wanting to learn Greenlandic since I was a young boy, and was beyond excited when I discovered the Greenlandic Online courses. You did an absolutely fantastic job teaching the courses, and I really liked the mix of small group and full group work. I would never have been able to get the understanding of Greenlandic grammar that you shared with us by working on my own. So I'm very glad you agreed to teach Level 3! See you in a few weeks! I just wanted to write you to say again thank you so much! I don’t know if I will be going onto Level 2 as I am not actually part of the project travelling to Greenland, but I am so happy I got to join for Level 1 just to learn a little bit about how the language works! I’ve taken a few language classes before and just want to say I thought you were an amazing and super helpful instructor-- especially for hearing sounds pronounced wrong and telling us how to correct it, so good! Also for the wealth of material through Quizlet and the GoogleDrive, it will be so nice to be able to revisit things in such detail. The course was great!
